Mesmerising Malta

Malta is a glorious island set in the heart of the Mediterranean situated

between Sicily and the North African Coast. Boasting 300 days of sunshine and a short three-hour flight away it is a great destination for every type of traveler. The Maltese Islands are home to numerous historic sites including the Megalithic Temples, the oldest free-standing structures in the world pre-dating the Great Pyramids of Giza by 1,000 years!  

Famous for historical sites and wonderful cathedrals Malta's history dates back to 5000 BC and has been ruled by the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Knights, and British. The native language Maltese sounds like a combination of Italian and Arab. Also driving on the left-hand side makes it feel very homely and in the capital Valetta you will see some red phone boxes!

If you enjoy diving, Malta has been named one of the best-known dive destinations in the world. Children can gain PADI certification from ten years old.  With its sister islands Gozo and Comino twenty-five minutes away by ferry, where stunning bays hug the sparkling water, you will find beautiful churches and the oldest free-standing structures in the world.
